Playful Bounce — the sky showed up

Light blue is the color of open space and clear thinking. It’s calm, luminous, and carries an effortless ease that makes it one of the most naturally beautiful bases in the entire Playful Bounce lineup. It’s also, once the design arrives down the right side, considerably more exciting than it first suggests.

Playful Bounce is an original digital artwork by Melbourne artist Bert Ernie — a vertical column of circles, rounded rectangles, and organic forms stacking and overlapping in translucent layers, with typographic elements scattered playfully throughout. The composition runs from waistband to ankle down the right side of the leggings, and the waistband itself carries a strip of the design on the right side only — a detail that makes these asymmetric designed leggings genuinely unlike anything else you’ll find. Look closely and you’ll find something new every time — a shape you hadn’t noticed, a color combination that shouldn’t work but absolutely does.

Against the light blue base, the warm tones in the design — corals, oranges, pinks — glow with beautiful contrast against the cool base. The purples add depth. The greens shimmer with freshness. The whole composition feels light and alive — like it’s floating just slightly above the surface of the leggings. Every outdoor run, every poolside stretch, every class where you want to feel as free as you look — these are those leggings.
