Velvet red is not an ordinary red. Where other reds shout, velvet red draws you in. It’s deeper, warmer, and considerably more complex — the kind of color that absorbs light and rewards attention. It’s also, as it turns out, one of the richest bases in the entire Playful Bounce lineup.

Playful Bounce is an original digital artwork by Melbourne artist Bert Ernie — a vertical column of circles, rounded rectangles, and organic forms stacking and overlapping in translucent layers, with typographic elements scattered playfully throughout. The composition runs from waistband to ankle down the right side of the leggings, and the waistband itself carries a strip of the design on the right side only — a detail that makes these asymmetric designed leggings genuinely unlike anything else you’ll find. Look closely and you’ll find something new every time — a shape you hadn’t noticed, a color combination that shouldn’t work but absolutely does.

Against the velvet red base, the design takes on a warmth and intensity that sits in its own category. The pinks and magentas dissolve beautifully into the base. The teals and greens cut through with sharp, jewel-like contrast. The yellows and oranges glow like embers against the deep red.
