Spiral Meltdown — soft outside, unhinged within

Pink peach is warm, inviting, and effortlessly easy to wear. It’s the color of a good morning and a ripe summer fruit. It is also, as it turns out, a spectacular canvas for abstract mayhem.

Spiral Meltdown is an original digital artwork by Melbourne artist Bert Ernie — a composition that pulls in two directions at once. The upper half is all sweeping concentric circles and fluid curves, soft and almost hypnotic. The lower half is where things come apart: oversized typographic letterforms from Bert’s collection of weird and wonderful fonts crash into geometric shapes, mechanical details, and bursts of color. On the Pink Peach variant, the warm tones in the design — coral, orange, yellow — fold beautifully into the base. The cooler colors push back with sharp, joyful contrast. The whole thing has a warmth and ease that the more saturated variants simply don’t.

The design runs down the right side of the sweatshirt — across the shoulder, down the front and back panels, and fully along the right sleeve. The front and back panels mirror each other at the seam, creating a totem-pole effect at the join that rewards a closer look. The Wild Peach logo sits in matching pink peach, embedded in the design. Subtle. Deliberate. Very much there if you’re paying attention.
